Learning Objectives

  • List and practically apply the safety considerations of training with a number of suspension based systems and understand how to set up and safely use different types of suspension straps.
  • Apply the warm up drills into a safe and specific warm up for suspension fitness training sessions.

  • Apply the theory to teach essential suspended fitness exercises.
  • Teach, analyse and correct technique for the foundation exercises.

  • Apply and integrate suspension fitness exercises into a comprehensive and effective training programme.
  • Apply the principles of progressing and regressing exercise technique to adjust to your clients level for key exercises, including lunges, rows, squats and planks.
